1965 Plymouth Belvedere A990 clone
The builder of this car did a nice job re-creating a clone of a factory A990 lightweight car. Keeping with the theme, its a Belvedere 1, post car. Radio delete (with actual A990 factory part), A108 van seats, no rear seat, actual A990 door sill plates, fiberglass bumpers, drivers wiper only, vintage tach on dash, 6 pt roll bar and I have the super stock scoop which will be installed. No HEMI (I wish) but a very healthy roller cam and stroked 440. Future plans included a Max Wedge sytle intake and factory valve covers for the period look.
The chassis work and detail is amazing. It's a complete back half car with rectangular tubing, ladder bar suspension with coil overs. Rear end is a 4.56 gear, 35 spline Mark Williams 9" with a locker. Wilwood Pro Street brakes on all 4 corners. Custom American Racing billet rims, 19.5 x 33" Mickey Thompson Sportsmans Pro's and 14 x 32" set of slicks. The 440 is bored .055", roller cam, rockers, etc. Trans is a reverse valve body 727, custom MW driveshast. Aeromotive fuel system.
Will update this as changes are made to the car.
